howdy! Pregnancy's great! Now let's move onto something more interesting.
Here is the number 1 reason why you should never be caught dead wearing sweatpants in the public...

This was taken through my sidekick at the SSI office. That lady bent over so low that when her wide butt stretched the sweatpants, the huge gaping hole slowly revealed a pink, white and red striped undies beneath. I wanted to walk up to her and tell her not to bend because she had a hole that had most of us gawking in stunned silence at her butt. But, I didn't have any pen or paper nor did I have muster the courage to go up and inform her. Instead, I horribly snapped a picture and snickered. Everyone should know better, don't ever wear sweatpants in public, even if you're feeling sick!! Especially men! Good lord, do they realize that their balls and weenie some how miraculously and disgustingly increase tenfolds in size?
Again, avoid sweatpants and you'll not have ur butts snapped.
Now, aside from that lady's dilemma, here's mine that happened today. Most of us know that the deaf community is tiny, right? Well. It has struck me today with an incredible slam in my face hard lesson learned. JK and I pulled into a parking lot of a plaza and as I was getting out, I noticed a man who seemed a little bit off, staring at me as he walked across the parking lot. He kept walking, stopping and turning to stare then turned away. He did that like 3 times and believe me, I did not want to have some idiot staring at me.
I started feeling uncomfortable... finally, as he crossed the parking lot and got on the curbside, he turned and stared at me, as if he was thinking or just simply staring... I got into this bitch mode and said, "WHAT?!" raising my hands up into the air and had that "what's your f. problem, huh?!?!"
I noticed he looked taken aback and stuttered as he was trying to sign "are you deaf?"
I kept doing the antics by saying, "stop staring at me!!!" in ASL
He finally signed... "you work at school? you teach?"
my heart jumped up into my throat, and my thoughts were reeling... "what the heck? oh shit, and who the heck are you?!?!"
finally, he said my name is ---- my kids are ---- and -----... you teach at school?"
oh shit. I teach his kids. I sincerely hope he was a little bit out of it as he did look tired... or it was probably my crazy behavior scared him witless.
Well. From now and on, I'll always remember, "you're in Fremont, you're a teacher in public at all times, not CLARE"
Just like sweatpants, don't get caught being a dramatic angry bitch in public!
Finally, last night I had a good time at Moe's jewelry party (I didn't buy anything but simply sat, ate and chatted). Last night's topic of the night for me was 1) twin issues and 2) pregnancy.
There was a fun moment when we all girls decided to bang together two pots to test if Rochy reacted to the noise. Well, when the pots were banged together, Rochy did move a little. I have to admit that it was so funny that I really enjoyed having everyone talk about the baby inside of me or talk about labor, delivery or their experiences as being pregnant.
I made a comment, "I know Rochy is a boy, I just know it... if it turns out to be a girl, I'd shit in my pants..." then I corrected myself, "I meant, I'd shit on the table."
all the mommies who had delivered knew what this meant and roared into laughter and said, "you will anyway!"
Well, I had fun, enough to have me stay there past my bedtime (usually 9 pm)... I needed that, the gathering of kindred and intelligent females who know how to have fun and aren't (too) judgmental, grins.
Here are some pictures of Cat and I last night, can you tell the difference? :) That was the topic last night, "how do we tell the difference between you two?"

Well, I'm off to Trader Joe's to get brisket beef and cook up a storm for tonight's dinner.
hugs hugs!
